Her Legacy… Joan Christine Proctor, 87, passed away April 8, 2025.  She was born on August 15, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to John Kleczynski and Genevieve (Tront) Kleczynski. Joan married the love of her life, Raymond Proctor, on October 19, 1957, in Garden City. Joan joined St. Joseph Catholic Church when she moved to Howell in 1972. She will be remembered as a generous, kind and compassionate person who loved to read, do jigsaw puzzles, and cook.  Joan had a big heart for her family and found great joy in her role as mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Her Family… Joan will be missed by her children, Michael Proctor, Jeffrey Proctor, Linda Crawford; siblings, Edward Kleczynski, Christine Mardegian; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sara, Phillip, Cody and Casey; great grandchildren, Mariah, Madison, Sophia, Savannah, Oliver; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; granddaughter, Emily Proctor; brother, Richard Kleczynski.

Her Farewell… Joan’s family and friends will gather on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel. On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, her family and friends will gather at 10:00 AM until the time of her Community Farewell service at 11:00 AM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home.
