Her Legacy…  Joanne Marie Bair, age 88, passed away May 28, 2023.  She was born on July 22, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan to James and Etta Bakris.  Joanne married the love of her life, Darrell Delano Bair, on May 29, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan.  They were happily married for almost 60 years. Joanne was a wonderful wife and caretaker, a great mother, and a wonderful friend who spread laughter and happiness with everyone she met, especially in her later years with her Hamburg Senior Community.  She was well-organized, and learned her exceptional cooking skills from her aunt, Marion Buttermore.  Most of all, Joanne was an unconditionally loving, forgiving, and selfless person who always put others first, especially her husband and son.  She will be greatly missed.

Her Family…  Joanne will be missed by her son, Kurt (Patti) Bair; sister, Pamela Hall; half-sisters, Demi and Connie; many cousins and other family, including Patsy, Sue and Shorty Crow.  She is preceded in death by her husband Darrell, and her parents, James and Etta.

Her Farewell…  Joanne’s Community Farewell Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 4:00pm (gathering from 12pm – 4pm) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan.  Pastor Jon Reynolds will serve as celebrant.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.  Please leave a message of comfort for Joanne’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
