Battle, John
Gregory, MI
His Legacy…John Charles Battle, 57, passed away October 25, 2022. He was born on January 13, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, to Leo Battle and Josephine (Cammarano) Battle. John married the love of his life, Laura Austin, on March 17, 1990, in Canton, Michigan. John had a personality bigger than him, never met a stranger and had friends everywhere. John had a unique sense of humor & was very quick witted, he lit up every room with his light, love & laughter. He loved tending to his plants and his backyard. John was a Detroit Lions fanatic, enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He never missed his children’s sporting events. John was always helping people in need, and would drop everything to do so. If he saw someone broke down on the side of the road, he always had to stop and make sure they were ok. He had a very strong faith and loved the Catholic Church. He was very devoted to his Jesus Calling book, and enjoyed sharing devotions from it on his social media. John was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
His Family… John will be missed by his wife, Laura Battle; his children, John Battle, Allie (Chase) Walter, Garrett (Madison) Battle, Madeline Battle; sister, Cathy Battle; the most beautiful granddaughter, Camryn Battle; and his beloved black lab, Deets.
