His Legacy… John Robert Marquis, 65, passed away April 15, 2025. He was born on September 1, 1959, in Garden City, Michigan to Warren Marquis and Carmen (Mac Donald) Marquis. John was a 1977 graduate from Garden City High School. He spent a great deal of time doing the things he loved the most; hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, and listening to rock n roll music. John will be remembered as an extremely generous, private person with a good sense of humor and a love for his family and his 2 dogs. John loved sports and the Detroit Red Wings. John treasured spending time in nature up at his cabin in the woods. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
His Family… John will be missed by his loving sister, Janet (Dale) Branstrom; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Alicia, Marty, Eric, Angela, Josie, Fawn, Harlow. He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Carmen Marquis.
His Farewell… John’s family and friends will gather Saturday, April 26, 2025, 10:00 AM (11:00 AM Service) at First Baptist Church in Fowlerville, Michigan. Pastor Lloyd Williams will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Michigan Humane Society.
