His Legacy… John Russell Verbison Jr., 69, passed away October 10, 2023.  He was born on July 28, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan to John Russell Verbison and Constance (Sikorski) Verbison. He graduated from Redford Union High School in 1972.  John married the love of his life, Nancy (Driller) Verbison, on September 7, 1974, in Redford, Michigan. John worked as a carpenter for many years and was a perfectionist in his work. He had a fun personality, and was known as a big jokester to his family. John enjoyed collecting antique tractors and trucks. He loved music and said that there were only two types, “Rock” and “Roll”. John enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and also the History Channel. He was a very spiritual person and always saw the best in people. John was adored by his family and will be deeply missed.

His Family… John will be missed by his wife Nancy Verbison; his children, Leon Verbison, Jason (Debra) Verbison; siblings, Keith (Brenda) Verbison, Tammy Denny; grandchildren, Lainey, Miranda, Jaidyn, Curtis, Mason; and his Aunt Karen Bargiel. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Constance Verbison.

His Farewell… John’s family and friends will gather Friday, October 20, 2023 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
