His Legacy… Jonathan Lewis Musch, 97, passed away February 6, 2020. He was born on August 30, 1922, in Livingston County, Michigan. Jonathan married the love of his life, Evelyn Huskinson, on June 11, 1944, in Hartland, Michigan. They were married for 74 beautiful years. Jonathan farmed his entire life in Green Oak Township, Livingston County, Michigan.  He served his Lord faithfully through the years, witnessing and sharing the gospel with everyone he met.  He was a lifelong member of Hiawatha Bible Church, Hamburg, Michigan and Gideon’s International Fellowship.  Jonathan received an award from sheriff officers for 42 years of service in the prison ministry he founded at Livingston County prison.  The family wishes to acknowledge the special daily care given by Denise Shecter, visits and prayers from friends and church family, the personnel at Independence Village, Ashley Court, Brighton manor, all located in Brighton, Michigan, as well as personnel with Premier Hospice and Grace Hospice.  We rejoice in Jonathan’s home going and reunion with loved ones awaiting his arrival in heaven.

His Family… Jonathan leaves behind his half-brother, Lloyd Miller; half- sister, Rosella (Rosie) Taylor; and nieces, Jovan Halstead, and Gayle Richman Spittka. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; his parents, Hannes and Flora Musch; and sister, Majel Musch Richman.

His Farewell… Jonathan’s Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11:00am (10:00am visitation) at Hiawatha Bible Church, 6415 Buckshore, Hamburg, Michigan. Pastor Jerry Wichert will lead the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hiawatha Bible Church or Gideon’s International.
