His Legacy… Joseph Edward Kowalski, 81, passed away October 16, 2023.  He was born on July 18, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to Frank Kowalski and Wanda Corpolongo. Joe married the love of his life, Nancy, on April 8, 1967, in Southfield, Michigan.   He will be remembered as a loving and devoted family man that supported his family in many ways. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army during his early life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating and camping.  Joe loved football, especially watching U of M games.  

His Family… Joe will be greatly missed by his wife, Nancy Kowalski; his children, Joe (Ana) Kowalski, Greg (Denise) Kowalski, Dave (Patti) Kowalski; sister, Francine Magarro; grandchildren Chase, Sara, Alex, Adam; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Wanda Kowalski.

His Farewell… Joe’s family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 1:00-4:00PM, with a Community Farewell Service beginning at 4:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan.  Bill Donahue will serve as Celebrant.
