Her Legacy… Joyce Haberkorn, age 75, passed away April 19, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1948, in Detroit, MI to Stanley and Patricia (Jechna) Mendygral. Joyce married John Haberkorn Sr. on July 20, 1968 at St. Mary Church. She had many careers which included assistant superintendent of construction projects to substitute teaching and finishing her career as a Tech Ed coordinator at LESA. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Joyce leaves behind her sons, John Jr. (Shannon), Matthew, and Adam (Jodie); and grandchildren, John III, Annabelle, Hannah, Ben, William, Beckham. She is also survived by her sister, Doreen McGuire; and her service dog, Emma. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John Sr.

Her Farewell… Joyce’s family and friends will gather on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4-8PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Scripture Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11AM (10AM gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pinckney, MI.
