Her Legacy… Joyce Ann Henry, 83, passed away January 17, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1939, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Alfred Fuhrman and Donna (Brown) Fuhrman. Joyce married the love of her life, Lambert J. Henry, on February 5, 1955, in Pinckney, Michigan. Joyce was a devoted woman of faith. She was a charter member of People’s Church in Pinckney, and very active with many roles including playing the piano and organ. Joyce had a passion for missionary work and traveled to Mexico, Ireland, and Bolivia on many mission trips. She also volunteered at an orphanage in Russia at one time. Joyce was a volunteer for Spring Hill Camps for 17 years. Joyce was a loving mother and dedicated wife, her family was the most important to her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Lambert, having gone to the Netherlands and Ireland with him. Joyce was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Family… Joyce will be missed by her husband, Lambert Henry; her children, Jim (Alana) Henry, Liz (Greg) Nortley, Gloria (Donald) Sanch, Marcia (Larry) Duttweiler, Nancy (Steve) Moreno, Kathy (Andy) Rogers; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Alan Fuhrman and Keith Fuhrman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Donna Fuhrman; son, Rob Henry; sister, Carole Wiltse and brother, Sonny Fuhrman.
Her Farewell… Joyce’s family and friends will gather Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at People’s Church, Pinckney, Michigan. Doctor Duane Cuthbertson will serve as celebrant.
