Her Legacy… Judith May (Jutras) Chilcutt, 84, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. She was born on January 3, 1942, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Leo and Betty (Brokenshire) Jutras. On October 1, 1960, Judith married the love of her life, William (Bill) Chilcutt, in Detroit, Michigan. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage built on love, faith, and devotion to family. Judith will be remembered for always placing her faith and family at the center of her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother who consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her kindness, strength, and selfless spirit touched everyone who knew her. She found great joy in the outdoors, especially flower gardening, camping, and traveling. Judith also loved golfing and treasured the friendships she shared with her ladies’ golf group for more than 25 years. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Her Family… Judith will be missed by her loving husband, William (Bill) Chilcutt; her children, Steven (Roianne) Chilcutt, Kimberly (Mike) Bruner; sister, Debbie (Ronnie) Pillera; grandchildren, Elisha, Melissa, Kayla, Madison; great grandchildren, Megan, Amber, Brendan, Chloe, Charlie; many nieces and nephews; numerous good friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Betty Jutras; brothers, Robert, Kenneth and David Jutras.
Her Farewell… Judith’s family and friends will gather Monday, June 15 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Howell, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10:00 am followed by her service at 11:00am, at Howell First United Methodist Church on Bower Street in Howell. Memorial cintributions may be given to First United Methodist Church in Howell, or Wounded Warriors.
