Julia (Coor) Nedroscik

Her Legacy… Julia Coor Nedroscik, Age 101, passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2021.  She was born on September 15, 1919, in Rosewood, North Carolina to Zedman Holloman and Mabel (Coor) Holloman. Julia married the love of her life, Lawrence Albert Nedroscik, on May 8th, 1943, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Julia would often love hosting family gatherings and events. She was known to be an incredible cook and made the best spaghetti and apple pie. She even won first place for her apple pie at St. Pat’s pie contest. Julia could often be found gardening outside and tending to her house plants. She was always an active parish member and loved serving at her church. Julia will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Her Family… Julia will be missed by her children; Carolyn (Richard) Oberstaedt and Dianne Nedroscik; grandchildren David Oberstaedt Laura Abele, Kimberly Brown, Kendra Morabito and Krystal Brown; great grandchildren Kara Oberstaedt, Nick Oberstaedt, Allison Morabito and Drew Morabito. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Nedroscik, parents Zedman and Mabel Holloman, Sisters Wilda Holloman and Verna Bradley and Brother Borden Holloman.

Her Farewell… Julia’s family and friends will gather April 14, 2021 from 10 until the start of her service at 12pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant.
