Howell, MI

His Legacy…Duke Johnson, 75, passed away, January 14, 2021, at home surrounded by family.  Duke was born, August 8, 1945 in Warnock, KY to Jim and Alma (Moore) Johnson. Duke served in the US Army, stationed at Fort Hood, TX. He was employed by Pepsi Co. in Howell for 35+ years. Duke enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and woodworking in his spare time.  Duke will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family…Duke is survived by his sons, Jim (Michele) Johnson and Jody (Dee) Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Levi and Jesse, brother, Ed (Linda) Johnson and sister in law, Barbara Traylor-Johnson.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Virgil.

His Farewell…Duke’s family & friends will gather at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel for visitation on January 20, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.  Interment will take place in Warnock, KY.  Memorial contributions are suggested to American Legion Devereaux Post 141, Howell, MI.  Please leave a message of comfort by signing his guestbook at borekjennings.com.
