Kaitlin Marie (Jensen) McNally

Her Legacy… Kaitlin Marie McNally, 69, passed away May 14, 2025.  She was born on January 26, 1956 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Ian and Marilyn (Andersen) Jensen. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and lifelong dedication to helping others.

At 17, Kaitlin began training to become an EMT and went on to serve as both an EMT and firefighter in Ann Arbor. Later, she attended nursing school in Detroit and spent many years working in healthcare. She also helped develop the “Well Moms and Well Babies” program with United Healthcare, making sure new mothers had access to the care and coverage they needed. Kaitlin also worked as an RN case manager at the University of Virginia in the ICU and organ transplant programs.

Kaitlin was known for putting others first. She gave her time and energy freely and was never afraid of a challenge. Helping people wasn’t just her work—it was who she was. Above all, she cared deeply for her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed traveling to places like Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth, Michigan. Christmas was a special time for her, and she especially loved visiting Bronner’s and having meals at Zehnder’s. Her faith was a steady and important part of her life as a devoted Catholic.

Kaitlin will be missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew her.

Her Family… Kaitlin will be missed by her children, Christopher (Katie) McNally and Heather McNally; sister, Judith (Ken) Margerison; grandchildren, Ewan and Fiona; her mother, Marilyn Jensen. She is preceded in death by her father, Ian Jensen.
