Karen Marie Hillebrand

Karen Marie Hillebrand, devoted mother, grandmother, partner, wife, sister, and friend, passed away on October 10, 2021, at age 63.  Karen was a long-time resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan. 

 Karen was born in Detroit to the late Edward and Dolores Manikowski.  She was the youngest of three children. 

 Surviving Karen are her children, Joseph (Dr. Stephanie) Hillebrand III and Jessica (Bryan) Allen; partner, Jerry Mayer; grandchildren, Nolan and Cecilia Allen; and siblings, Gary and Rickey Manikowski.  Karen was preceded in death by her late husband, Joseph Hillebrand Jr.

 Karen loved intensely.   Her life centered around family and friends. Her passion for life was evident to all who knew her.   Her presence was warm, welcoming and energetic.  She was loved by many and will be truly missed. 

 Karen’s family will welcome guests for a celebration of life at The Summerhouse at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center (8768 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI) on October 14th, from 3 – 7pm.  Please come with memories to share.
