Her Legacy… Karla Ann Storrs, 83, passed away May 3, 2026.  She was born on October 8, 1942, in San Francisco, California to Karl Krepela and Milena (Cizkovsky) Krepela. Karla married the love of her life, Paul Storrs, on August 19, 1978, in San Francisco, California. Karla spent 30 years at U of M as a critical care nurse. She was an amazing nurse with a heart of gold; after her children were grown, she often offered to work holidays so that her coworkers could spend time with their families. Karla was always thinking of others; she often left treats for her garbage men and mail carrier. Whenever you visited her, you never left empty handed. Karla loved to garden and had a beautiful koi pond that she enjoyed. Karla’s family was the most important to her and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She especially loved taking her grandchildren for rides in her beloved blue convertible hot rod, playing the music loud along the way.  Karla’s family and friends will greatly miss their “little Michigan bluebird”.

Her Family… Karla will be missed by her children, Valerie (Monica) Reamer-Harris, Stephanie (Artrud) Tellander, Betsy (Julie) Storrs; brother, Bruce (Joan) Hasek; grandchildren, Bobby, Michael, Bryan, Ellie, Michelle, Trey (Natalie), Dakota, Savannah (Garrett); great-grandchildren, Cintalanie and Adelina. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Storrs; parents, Karl and Milena Krepela; son, Bobby Storrs; and brother, Viktor Hasek.
