Her Legacy… Kathryn (Kathy) Marie Wilds, 71, passed away on March 6, 2025.  She was born on September 26, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Marks and Janette (Grady) Marks. Kathryn was a dedicated employee at Doan Companies Concrete Co. She started there as a temp and they were so impressed with her work that she was promoted to controller to run the company’s financials. Kathryn also ran a successful accounting business on the side called Wilds Construction Management. She was a wonderful mother, incredibly kind, and loved animals. She loved gardening, landscaping and swimming. Kathryn enjoyed Nascar and she loved to have a good time. She would do anything for her friends and was very loyal. Kathryn was a joy to know and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Kathryn will be missed by her sons, Jeremy (Amanda) Wilds, Derek Wilds; mother, Janette Marks; and grandchildren, Cash Wilds, Cruz Wilds, Jack Wilds. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Marks; and brother, David Marks.

Her Farewell… Kathryn’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10AM-12PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will follow at 12PM. Pastor Ken Greble will serve as celebrant.
