Her Legacy… Kelly Lanore Horvath, 61, passed away February 3, 2026.  She was born on June 18, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan to Kenneth Johnson and Eleanor (Carlton) Johnson. Kelly married the love of her life, Michael Horvath, June 11, 1994, in, Clinton Twp, Michigan. Kelly was a people person and had a gift for becoming your best friend shortly after meeting you. She had a great sense for people’s emotions and feelings and truly wanted to know you. Kelly did everything with intention and heart and was the brightest light in the room. She loved the sunshine and the beach, dancing, camping, and spending time up north. Kelly was an amazing mom and was always very involved in her children’s schools and activities. As her children grew up, she became close with their partners and welcomed and loved them as her own. She was incredibly proud of her family’s achievements. Kelly adored her husband, Michael and she was the best mother and grandmother. To know Kelly was to absolutely love her. Kelly was deeply loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Kelly will be missed by her husband, Michael Horvath; her children, Paige (Jake) Kendziorski, Tyler Horvath; mother, Eleanor Johnson; sisters, Lori (Joey Golden) Johnson, Tina (Glen Bergers) Johnson; grandson, Henry Kendziorski; one grandson on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Johnson; and sister, Sherry Johnson.

Her Farewell… Kelly’s Community Farewell will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, with a public visitation beginning at 12:00PM, and a service to follow at 3:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan.
