His Legacy… Kenneth Lee Adkins, 70, passed away February 1, 2021. He was born on July 31, 1950, in Pikeville, Kentucky to Sidney Adkins and Nevel (Roberts) Adkins. Kenneth married the love of his life, Sue (Bendis) Adkins, on July 8, 1972 in Flushing, Michigan. Kenneth’s number one priority in his life was his family and he especially loved spending time with his Grandchildren. One of his favorite past times with his wife Sue, was cuddling and eating his favorite chocolate pie. He loved to throw huge parties with sometimes over 200 guests and was the grand master of the pig roasts! Along with being an amazing host he also enjoyed teaching and running the Apprenticeship Program at Roofers Union Local 70. When Kenneth wasn’t spending time with family he was a passionate outdoors man, spending time four wheeling, and snowmobiling. Also a passionate hunter often traveling to Canada to hunt deer and bear. Kenneth truly enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a huge Jeff Gordon fan. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
