His Legacy… Kenneth James Ricardi, 92, passed away December 25, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael Ricardi and Veronica (DeHennis) Ricardi. Ken married the love of his life, Elaine Perkins, on April 15, 1956 in Dearborn, MI. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Ken was involved in a variety of groups, including Hartland American Legion Post 294 and US Marine Corp Detachment 161 in Howell. He played the clarinet in the military band. Ken also played guitar. He was also part of the Midwest Rock and Mineral League. Ken liked to make sure he was available to serve and belong to organizations that he found meaningful to him. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, Ken loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Ken will be missed by his loving wife, Elaine Ricardi of 68 years; sons, Jerome (LeHua) Ricardi and Randall Ricardi; significant other, Roger Guerrero; pet, Russo; and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
His Farewell… Ken will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 12:30PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
