His Legacy… Kenneth James Vincent, 71, passed away April 30, 2025. He was born on September 13, 1953, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Billy Ray Vincent and Louise (Hutchinson) Vincent. Kenneth married the love of his life, Lynette Pettigrew, on August 5, 1972, in Brighton, Michigan. He will be remembered as a kind, funny, and dependable man. Ken was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also loved watching sports—especially when one of Detroit’s teams was playing. He had a gift for connecting with others, never meeting a stranger and always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. Although he was happiest at home, Ken’s welding career gave him the opportunity to travel to places like Thailand, China, and India, where he spent time teaching and training others in his field. He took pride in his work and in sharing what he knew. Above all, Ken loved his friends and family deeply and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
His Family… Kenneth will be missed by his children, Alison Grainger, Jeffery Vincent; grandchildren, Alex (Tatiana) Grainger, Maggie Grainger, Easton Vincent; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lynette Vincent; his parents, Billy and Louise Vincent; and his older brother, Bill Vincent.
His Farewell… Kenneth’s family and friends will gather Saturday, May 10th, 2025, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Please leave a message of comfort for Kenneth’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign his guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
