Wigginton, Kevin
Howell, Michigan (previous Lansing resident)
His Legacy... Kevin Alan Wigginton, 61, passed away July 20. 2026. He was born on December 15, 1964, in Lansing, Michigan to Billy Wigginton and Melva (Durand) Wigginton. Kevin married the love of his life, Jody (Klepper) Nazione, on October 29. 2022, in Ireland at the Cliffs of Moher. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind man who was wonderful to everyone. A lover of the outdoors, Kevin often spent his time golfing, boating, hiking, camping, and his favorite of all, traveling alongside his wife. If he wasn't outside, he would often be bowling or watching MSU Football.
Kevin was known for having the best smile. It was always there, but it shone brightest when he was spending time with his grandkids. He truly was a friend to all and shared his love with everyone he encountered.
One of Kevin's greatest accomplishments as a youth was to earn the highest, most prestigious rank of Eagle Scout where he was honored to serve as Chaplain for his troop.
Kevin had a long, fulfilling career at Tecomet (formerly Jet Engineering). He was proud to have a role in manufacturing medical and aerospace forge products. In the course of his work, he had a multitude of friends that he cherished, many of which became like extended family members
His Family… Kevin will be missed by his wife, Jody; his stepchildren, Anthony (Samantha), Matthew (Morgan), Alisha (Travis), Brandon (Loredana); 9 grandchildren that he absolutely adored; siblings, Bruce (Ellen), Dale (Jody), Gregg (Mary Kay); and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Melva, and his sister, Cynthia.
His Farewell… A farewell service will be held on August 8, 2026 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 3815 S. Cedar St., Lansing, MI 48910, Visitation will be held 10:00 am - 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life service directly following. After the celebration service, the family would like to extend an invitation to continue the Celebration of Kevin's Life at the Irish Pub, located at 1910 W. Saginaw St., Lansing.
