Kurt James Kaiser

His Legacy… Kurt James Kaiser, Age 60, passed away May 17, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 23, 1962, in Lansing, Michigan to Donald Kaiser and Lynne (Shebal) Kaiser. Kurt married the love of his life, Jennifer Meyer.    He will be remembered as vibrant and self-motivated. Kurt started his own business, C-LEC, Inc., installing, repairing and maintaining network telephone systems for some 40 years. He loved working things out and taking the initiative to solve problems. Kurt was the ‘go-to-guy’ for family and friends alike. He had an understanding of electronics and how they worked that most of us could only dream of.  Kurt loved being outside whether it was swimming, boating or skiing.  He took care of himself by eating clean and taking a holistic approach to health. Most of all Kurt adored his children. He would spend countless hours outdoors with them kayaking, hiking and skiing and attending their soccer games. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Kurt will be missed by his wife Jennifer Meyer-Kaiser; his children, Ava Kaiser and Evan Meyer; his mother Lynne Foltz; stepfather George Foltz; sister Karen Kaiser.  He is preceded in death by his father Donald A. Kaiser.

His Farewell… Kurt’s family and friends will gather on June 2, 2023 for a memorial service at 11:00am (visitation 10:00am – 11:00am) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, 1700 Highland Rd., Lamb Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Joseph Allison will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Ava Kaiser College Fund.
