His Legacy… Larry Alan Cox, 77, passed away October 12, 2021.  He was born on September 19, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan to Leo Cox and Dorothy (Hansman) Cox. He will be remembered as a man who was all about family and sticking together. Larry liked to do things his way and his motto was “Don’t keep up with the Jones’s”. He was a devoted Elvis fan and enjoyed playing piano. He was a Navy veteran who served his country on the USS Ticonderoga during Vietnam. He enjoyed going to the casino, and traveling to Florida beaches and Atlantic City. Larry was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

His Family… Larry will be missed by his children, Cary (Vadie) Cox, Patrick (Tisha) Cox, James (Tiffany) Cox; grandchildren, Richard, Anthony, Kolton, Tristan, Annabell, Marlee, Ivan, and Brett; nieces and nephews, Lori Cox (Tiffy & Jenna), David Cox, Dodie Hensman, Barbara Hammer, Rick Cox, Mike Cox and Brad Cox; and his love, Cathy Thomas.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dorothy Cox and brothers, Gene and Dennis Cox.
