His Legacy…Larry Eldon Vogel Sr., 86, passed away July 30, 2025.  He was born on September 15, 1938, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Walter Vogel Sr.  and Lillian (Bell) Vogel. Larry married the love of his life, Mary Ann Aungst, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Larry spent his career at Cushing Malley in Ann Arbor as a graphic printer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird watching. Larry was easy-going and cheerful. He loved his little chihuahua, Bandit. Larry adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Larry was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family…Larry will be missed by his children, Larry (Cheryl) Vogel Jr., Tammy (Jim) Sinkovic, Sherri (Jay) Bailey; sister, Barbara Killinger; grandchildren, Anthony (Kaitlyn) Vogel, Samantha (Mike) Wisniewski, Monica (Aric) Gross, Merissa (Braden Smith) Bailey; great grandchildren, Quinn Vogel, Thomas Gross; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Vogel; parents, Walter and Lillian Vogel; siblings, Olive Grace Nordman, Walter Fredrick Vogel Jr., Roberta Jean Stillion, Estella Rosealma Lyttle, Robert Douglas Vogel Sr., Carl Delbert Vogel Sr., Betty Jane Fransted, Lloyd Richard Vogel Sr., Greneth Arlene Pate, Evelyn Patricia Veal, Lester Eugene Vogel, and Terry Lee Vogel.

His Farewell… Larry’s family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel, Pinckney, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant.
