His Legacy… Larry Eugene Young, 87, passed away August 15, 2023. He was born on June 29, 1936, in Lake City, Michigan to Eugene Young and Evelyn Lucillie (LaDoecer) Young. Larry married the love of his life, Sharon Wiseley, on September 16, 1967, in Pinckney, Michigan. Larry worked as a plumber for most of his career and thoroughly enjoyed the work. He built a great deal of the plumbing for U of M Hospital. Larry was an avid gardener and canner. He was famous for his homemade baked beans, they were always a request for family cookouts. Larry had a strong work ethic and was very giving and generous. He adored his grandchildren, they were his entire world. Larry was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His Family… Larry will be missed by his wife, Sharon Young; his children, David (Patricia) Wiseley, John Wiseley, Ken (Holly) Wiseley, Theresa Kesling, Larry “Dean” Young; grandchildren, Michelle (David) McGrann, Shannon (Tim) Riggle, Michael Joseph “Joe” Kesling, Angela (Travis) Van Schouten, Ryan Wiseley, Hope (Brandon) Wesolowski, Rachael Wiseley, Victoria “Tory” (Cory) Saddler, Garrett Wiseley, Mackenzie Young; and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Evelyn Young; and sons, Michael Young and Richard Young.
