Driggers, Laura
Pinckney, Michigan
Her Legacy… Laura Lee Driggers, 71, passed away May 26th, 2026. She was born on October 19, 1954, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Robert and Janet (Obenoor) Day. Laura married the love of her life, Judson Driggers, on January 17, 1980, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Laura loved heading up north in Michigan, where the beauty of the outdoors and the peace of nature brought her happiness. Some of her favorite moments were spent camping, taking drives to watch the leaves change colors in the fall, and visiting the family cabin in Vanderbilt, Michigan. She was never afraid to speak her mind and was known for her outspoken personality, quick wit, and strong spirit. If something needed fixing, she would give it her best shot herself, always determined and resourceful. She was the kind of person who would drop everything to lend a hand to family, friends, or even strangers in need. An amazing cook, she brought people together around the table with meals. Above all, she will be remembered for her caring heart, strong personality, generous spirit, and the love she shared with those who are fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on, in every autumn drive, campfire, and visit up north.
Her Family… Laura will be missed by her son Jeff (Jessica Swift) Driggers; her mother Janet Day, siblings; Sharron (Dave) Wiarda, Rebecca Day, Reberta (Mike) Kegler, Betty (Mike) Henderlong, Arlene Day and Sharlene Day. grandson; Jeff Driggers Jr; and many niece and nephews. Also, a special thanks to Jonathon Sudduth, Sharlene and Janet Day for their help with caring for Laura. She is preceded in death by her husband Judson Driggers, father Robert Day, son Steven Lee Driggers, grandmother Lydia Booher, nephew Kevin Henderlong, grandfather Rally Obenoor and grandmother Dorothy Reaume.
