His Legacy… Lee Allan Marble, age 80, passed away November 26, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert and Alice (Herring) Marble. Lee married the love of his life, Linda Lizzet, on October 10, 1970, in Detroit, MI. He will be remembered as a family man first, spending his time around his loved ones watching the Lions and U of M football or grilling up some barbeque for everyone to share. When football wasn’t on, Lee would settle in to watch his favorite movies, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz. He also loved camping and traveling, exploring places from Myrtle Beach all the way to Glacier National Park.
His Family… Lee will be missed by his loving wife, Linda; children, Andy (Kim) Marble and Katie (Justin) Chidester; grandchildren, Madeline, Emma, Luke, Blake, and Logan; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Chuck and Carol.
His Farewell… Lee’s Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Howell, MI with a gathering beginning at 1PM until the time of service. Chaplain DJ Reed will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society.
