Leonard Oliver Deluca

His Legacy…Leonard Oliver Deluca, 89, passed away August 12, 2021.  He was born on October 1, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan to Leonard Deluca Sr. and Suzie (Fella) Deluca. Leonard married the love of his life, Domenica (Facione) Deluca, on September 25, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan.  Leonard will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He was a hard worker starting at age 13 until his 80^th birthday.  Leonard was well respected in his community and lived a full and happy life. He was fully dedicated to his wife mimi, his family and to God.  Leonard will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Leonard will be missed by his children, Len (Amy)Deluca,  Steve Deluca; sister, Lucille (George) Mejaly; sister in law, Barbara Deluca; grandchildren, Amanda Deluca, Michael Deluca. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Domenica Deluca; parents, Leonard and Suzie Deluca; brother, Louie Deluca.

His Farewell… A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 1:00pm (12:00pm gathering) at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Road, Brighton, Michigan. Father John Rocus will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan.
