Her Legacy… Linda Joy Kennedy, 73, passed away January 11, 2025.  She was born on January 9, 1952, in Milford, Michigan to Henry Johnson and Doris (Clifford) Johnson. Linda married the love of her life, Curtis Kennedy, on September 2, 1978, in Washtenaw County. Linda was incredibly loving with a great sense of humor and wit. She was very supportive of her sons’ activities and was a den mother for their Boy Scout Troop when they were growing up. She had a big heart for the elderly and enjoyed taking care of them through her job at various nursing homes. Linda enjoyed nature and would often photograph wildlife and then sketch a beautiful picture from her photos. She also like to write and she loved many different genres of music. Linda was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Linda will be missed by her husband, Curtis Kennedy; her children, Kevin (Kristy) Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy; siblings, Ron Johnson and Scott (Sabine) Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Doris Johnson.

Her Farewell… Linda’s family and friends will gather Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00PM-3:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will follow at 3:00PM.  Memorial contributions are suggested to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
