Her Legacy...

With a heart full of love and a home filled with warmth, Linda Marie Koponen Miracle, 61, passed away peacefully in the early hours of January 31, 2025. Born on January 24, 1964, in Garden City, Michigan, to James and Patricia (Sandin) Koponen. Linda’s life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.

On May 22, 1997, she married the love of her life, Terry Miracle, and with open arms, she embraced his three children as her own. Linda’s love knew no bounds—she nurtured, guided, and uplifted them, becoming the heart that held their family together. She had a way of making every space feel like home, her warmth radiating through delicious meals, thoughtful touches, and the simple joy of being present.

Linda devoted nearly 20 years to her career as a certified pharmacy technician, finding purpose and fulfillment in helping others. In her free time, she could be found in her beloved kitchen, crafting new recipes to share, or tending to her gardens, creating a sanctuary of beauty and peace. But her greatest joy came from time spent with family—her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she delighted in showering them with love, wisdom, and adventure. Whether it was a spontaneous ice cream run, an exciting trip to the apple orchard or fair, or a quiet moment of storytelling, “Grandma’s house” was always a place of laughter, wonder, and love.

Linda’s love extended beyond her family to the animals she cherished, treating them with the same devotion and tenderness. But most of all, home was wherever Terry was. Together, they found joy in life’s simplest moments, their love a quiet, steady presence through every season.

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband of 27 years, Terry Miracle; her children, Nathaniel Miracle, Amber (Mitchell) Cowles, and William (Nicole) Miracle; her father, James Koponen; her brother, Steve (Sandi) Koponen; and her cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Aurora, Hazel, and Carter. She also leaves behind her beloved niece, Mirabella, and nephew, Vitaliy. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Koponen.

Family and friends will gather to honor Linda’s life on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, with a Community Farewell Service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Deacon Dave Piggot.
