Kelleher, Lindsay
Howell, Michigan
Her Legacy… Lindsay was a graduate of Michigan State University and worked briefly as a teacher. She later operated an antique store in downtown Brighton, eventually closing the store to focus on her home and family. Lindsay was a loving mother who took immense pride in her children, supporting them in all their pursuits. She was a loving and spirited grandmother who enjoyed creating joyful adventures and unique experiences for her grandchildren. Her many horses and dogs brought a special light and energy to her life. She was most at home in the barn, where she spent countless hours tending to her beloved animals. Lindsay participated in many horse-riding competitions over the years and was the proud recipient of multiple awards. She took great pride in filling her home with the treasures she found while antiquing, creating a space that was as unique and artistic as she was. A creative soul, she enjoyed the arts of cooking, painting, drawing and photography.
Her Family… Lindsay is survived by her son, Matthew (Jennifer) Kelleher; daughter, Amy Starr Kelleher; grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam, Mike, and Riley; sister-in-law, Sheila Hunicutt; niece, Christi Sewell; nephews, Chad Sewell, Cory Sewell, Christopher Frederick and Ryan Frederick; former husband of 48 years, Mike Kelleher. Lindsay is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Sewell; brother, Christopher Sewell and Sister, Elizabeth (Sewell) Frederick.
Her Farewell… A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
