Lorraine Hope FitzPatrick

Lorraine Hope Elias FitzPatrick left us on March 26 leaving behind a Family who was the benefactor of her limitless love.

Lorraine was born in Detroit, Michigan October 21, 1928, to Simon and Peta Pekula Elias, the second of eight children. Her education and training included business courses and (then) Commerce School in Detroit and was followed by several years at Ford Motor Company Engineering center where she met her husband of 53 years, Robert FitzPatrick together Lorraine and Robert could have taken their act to Broadway, their ability to entertain friends and family with their wit and spontaneity with limitless. Following her career at Ford, Lorraine became an expert in real estate where she really enjoyed (and excelled at) the challenges it presented.

Lorraine leaves behind her daughter Erica (Bradley) FitzPatrick-Benedict and grandsons Robert Edwin FitzPatrick Ill, Brendon Benedict along with brother Lawrence (Kathy) Elias and her sisters, Janet Elias and Elizabeth Groome and many treasured nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Simon and Peta Pekula Elias, her Husband Robert Edwin FitzPatrick and her siblings, Donald, Leonard, Charles and Sister Helen.
