Her Legacy… Luciana Pobursky, 69, passed away November 30, 2022.  She was born on August 3,1953, in Ari, in the province of Cheiti, Italy to Edigio Costantini Sr. and Maria (Firmani) Costantini. She proudly became a citizen of the United States on January 6, 1992. Luciana married the love of her life, Don Pobursky, on September 24, 1983 at St. Christine Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan. Luciana spent most of her life working at the cosmetology business she owned before transitioning her talents to a nursing home, where she styled the residents and kept house for the building. Luciana was eminently maternal; she cared for everyone she knew with her unconditional, motherly love. She was a headstrong and tenacious problem-solver, who firmly believed that when there is a will, there’s a way. She was also adventurous in trying new experiences when she could. Luciana’s many interests included food, gardening, animals, and collecting bells as souvenirs. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Her Family… Luciana will be missed by her husband Don; her children, Kelly (Matthew) Oleski and Kyle (Bobbie Kemp) Pobursky; siblings, Adele, Tony (Lynn), Camillo (Pam), and Edigio Jr.; grandchildren, Kendell and Levi; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edigio Sr. and Maria Costantini, and her sister in-law, Tricia.

Her Farewell… Luciana’s family and friends will gather Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will follow at 5:00pm. Reverend Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant.
