Her Legacy… Margaret “Peggy” Pearl Chapman, 89, passed away January 29, 2023.  She was born on June 18, 1933, in Tamarack, Michigan to Rudolph John Walley Sr. and Pearl Emma (LaFave) Walley. Peggy married the love of her life, Ronald Chapman, on May 4, 1974, in Brighton, Michigan. Peggy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She could be stubborn but was also very loving. She loved her dogs and was an animal lover. Peggy was mostly a homebody but she did enjoy going to dinner and people watching. In recent years she took up watching sports, and would watch football, basketball and hockey. She especially liked Michigan State football. Peggy also really enjoyed watching the Food Network. Peggy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Her Family… Peggy will be missed by her children, Cathy (Michael Hazel) Chadwick, Mark (Katherine) Chadwick; brother, Donald (Jeri) Walley; grandchildren, Erin Chadwick and Cody (Lucy) Chadwick. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Pearl Walley; husband, Ronald Chapman; and brothers, Jack Walley and Robert Walley.

Her Farewell… Peggy’s family and friends will gather Friday, February 3, 2023, from 2:00PM-6:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will follow at 6:00PM. Reverend Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Livingston County Humane Society.
