Her Legacy… Margaret “Peggy” Anne Selva, 67, passed away December 19, 2025.  She was born on December 27, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan to Wilbur Geranen and Gladys (Ramsay) Geranen. Peggy married the love of her life, Michael Selva, on June 18, 1977, in Livonia, Michigan. Peggy was an incredibly happy person who loved everyone. Whenever someone walked through the door you were greeted with a smile. Her smile was only matched by her strength. She was an absolute fighter and lived every day to its fullest with grace, humor and strength; from the first days of recovering from a stroke to the last days of fighting cancer. Peggy loved music, especially Christmas music. She loved celebrating and decorating her home for all holidays. Peggy enjoyed shopping, crafting, sewing and watching the Detroit Lions. She had an especially close relationship with her beloved grandchildren. She would send them a TGIF text every Friday and end every conversation with “love, hugs”. Peggy was a joy to know and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her Family… Peggy will be missed by her husband, Michael Selva; her children, Rhea Mae Geranen, Michael (Tai) Selva Jr., Serena (Shawn) Hartman; sisters, Kathy Wilcoxen, Bonnie Ratto; grandchildren, Alicia, Blue, Caleb, Boady, Samantha, Ronan, Sidney; daughter-in-law, Jessica; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Gladys Geranen; son, Jason Selva; and sister, Sherry Geranen.
