Marian Swarthout

Her Legacy…Marian Joan (Morris) Swarthout, 76, passed away November, 16, 2020.  She was born on August 25, 1944, in Lorain, Ohio to Paul Morris and Eleanor (Hoye) Morris. Marian married the love of her life, John Swarthout, on October 2, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a social butterfly with a huge giving heart, she loved bringing joy and laughter to others, as well as spending as much time with her family as possible. Marian took pride in and enjoyed cooking and cleaning, she was an avid shopper who loved antiques. One of her favorite passions was singing karaoke with her late husband John, going out to the movies, and traveling. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Her Family… Marian will be missed by her children, John Swarthout II, Donald (Traci) Swarthout, David (Cindy) Swarthout, and William (Jennifer) Swarthout; Siblings; Donald Morris, April Wheeler, David McMann, Melanne Purcell, Michael McMann, Bobby McMann, Richard McMann, and Bruce Killebrew; grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher, Justice, Nathan, Jacob, Abbey, Elizabeth, David II, Emma, Gracie, Reina, Jasmine, Jamison, Olivia, Cheyenne, Jessica, William II, Audrey, Savanah, Kamiryn, and Freya; great grandchildren, Braxton, Branson, Braiden, Braelynn, Gibson, Isaac, Ava and Eden. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Eleanor (Hoye) Morris, sister, Sallie VanVuren and her beloved husband John Swarthout.

Her Farewell… Marian’s family and friends will gather on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
