Her Legacy… Marilyn Marie Austin, 85, passed away January 20, 2025.  She was born on March 8, 1939, in Pasadena, California to Corydon Austin and Arline (Ringle) Austin. Marilyn will be remembered as a very loyal, dedicated, fiercely independent person.  Marilyn was a self-made woman with a strong work ethic, always striving for excellence in her field of technology. This helped her to become bold but genuine, and able to speak her mind when talking with people.  She was a great provider and very dedicated and loving to her son.  Marilyn enjoyed having a close-knit circle of friends who were like family to her.  She carried a great love for animals, and had a soft spot for cats and was a collector and admirer of beautiful things.

Her Family… Marilyn will be missed by her son, Mike (Laura) Austin; brother, Bill (Joyce) Austin; grandchildren Makayla, Serafina, Charissa, Josiah, Kevin, Missy, Jaime, Jen and Chris; great grandchildren Kevin Jr., Jackson, Sophia, Gabriella, Haisley, Christopher and Legend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Corydon and Arline Austin; her brother Bobby Austin.

Her Farewell… Marilyn’s family and friends will gather at 6:00 PM until the time of her celebration of life service at 7:30 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2/24 Community Church in Kid’s Room #3. Brad Tate will serve as celebrant.
