Her Legacy… Marilyn Ruttman White Wilkinson, 84, passed away February 20, 2025.  She was born on May 26, 1940, in Howell, Michigan to Leslie White and Ruth (Ruttman) White. Marilyn married the love of her life, James Wilkinson, on January 9, 1960, in Howell, Michigan. She will be remembered as a devoted and active member of her church and community. Marilyn served at the St. John’s Episcopal Church as secretary for 20 years, sang in the choir, served on the vestry, was a lay-minister and served on the Episcopal Church Women’s group. When Marilyn was not at church, she could be found helping out the Fowlerville Band Boosters, reading, playing bingo and cards. She also loved to go on trips with her late husband, James, and her family up to the cabin at Higgins Lake or DeTour Village in the Upper Peninsula. She had a love and passion for the Phantom of the Opera. Marilyn had a deep love for her husky dogs that she had throughout her life.

Her Family… Marilyn will be missed by her children, Leslie (Terry) Wilkinson, Stephen (Judy) Wilkinson, Andrew Wilkinson (Maylene Turnbo), Heather (Gordon) Yue; grandchildren, Monica Wilkinson, Molly Wilkinson, Nathan Yue, Rachel Yue;  great grandchild, Michael Paul Bensinger III. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Wilkinson; parents, Leslie & Ruth White; grandson, Maison Wilkinson.

Her Farewell… Marilyn’s family and friends will gather 10:00-11:00 AM (11:00 AM Service), Friday, May 16, 2025 at St John’s Episcopal Church in Howell, Michigan.  Pastor Jim Pashturro will serve as celebrant.
