His Legacy… Mark Eugene Martin, 68, passed away January 29, 2025.  He was born on August 23, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to Gerald Martin and Betty (Cody) Martin. Mark will be remembered as a very kind, patient and strong person, with a great sense of humor who loved everything outdoors.  He worked as a journeyman signal technician for IBEW Local 17 for almost 30 years. He loved all sweet things, especially Twinkies, Reese’s Cups and Coca-Cola.  Mark liked to cook and grill outdoors regardless of the season. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to watch the birds in his yard.  Mark was very handy, tinkering on projects and taking care of his yard. He enjoyed listening to classic rock-n-roll and helping others.

His Family… Mark will be greatly missed by his wife, Debra Martin; his daughter, Alicia (Benjamin) Birdsong; sister, Colleen (Garry) Delugach; brother-in-law, Mike Rice; grandchildren, Lillian, Eleanor; nephew, Mark (Trish) Rice;  great niece and nephew, Evan, Meghan, and Brandon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Betty Martin.
