His Legacy… Mark Earl Sanford, Sr., Age 79, passed away November 13, 2020.  He was born on October 10, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan to Daniel Sanford and Mildred (Rajacic) Sanford. Mark married the love of his life, Geraldine (Pienkosz) Sanford, on February 1, 1964, in Redford Twp, Michigan. Mark will be remembered as a man who loved his family first and foremost. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren on the water in his boat. As long as Mark was outside in the sunshine, he was content. Be it, cutting the lawn or running around with his beloved dogs, Lexi Lola and Ted. Mark was a proud member of the UAW Union for over 48 years. He worked hard and for many years to provide for his family and eventually had to be asked to retire rather than retire of his own accord. 

His Family… Mark will be missed by his beloved wife, Gerry Sanford; his children, Mark Sanford, Jr., Ronald Sanford, Amy (Michael) Hicks; grandchildren, Jacob, Ava, Joshua, Erin, Ashley, Taylor, Payton; He is preceded in death by his parents
