Mark Allen Turnblom was born on April 12, 1964 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Jack and Nadeen Turnblom.

Although Mark was taken too soon, he lived his 58 years to the fullest, with 23 of those years being loved by his life partner/wife, Marcia Blunt.

Mark is also survived by his three brothers, Jack (Julie) Turnblom, Gary (Sriphana) Turnblom and Michael (Betty) Turnblom along with their extended families. He is also survived by his Aunt Mary, Uncle Dennis and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Although Mark had to overcome many struggles and obstacles in life, he persevered and did it all with a smile on his face. In his earlier years, Mark and Nadeen were very active in The Special Olympics, which they both treasured. It was a wonderful bonding time for Mark and his mother.

Prior to the passing of his parents, they owned a cabin in McKinley, Michigan and Mark would spend the summers there enjoying the time. Most recently, Mark spent time in Cadillac, Michigan with his brother Gary, attended family reunions and time with the Blunt family.

Mark loved Marcia and loved taking care of her. One of their favorite things to do was to go window shopping.

Through his years, Mark touched so many lives and will be sadly missed by all.

Mark's Family and Friends will gather on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Hamburg, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00am (10am gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Hamburg, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to either Michigan Gift of Life or Special Olympics.
