Marlaine Patricia (Brazil) Micunek

Her Legacy… Marlaine Patricia Micunek, age 74, passed away December 6, 2020. She was born on February 26, 1946, in Windsor, Ontario to Edward and Cecile (Nantais) Brazil. Marlaine married the love of her life, James Micunek on June 27, 1964 in Dearborn, MI. In her spare time, she liked to go to garage sales and salvage and refurbish items. Marlaine was very organized, direct, full of grace, and beautiful inside and out. She loved the Lord. Marlaine loved her family. Her favorite saying was “love you bunches”. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Marlaine will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Marlaine leaves behind her children, Stacie (Todd) Beyer, Steven (Nicole), Scott (Anila), Spencer (Kristi); and grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Alexis, Ryan, Ava, Zain, Luke, Jack, and Isaac. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael, Marylee, and Carol. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Cecile; husband, James; and son, Stuart.

Her Farewell… Marlaine’s Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at (12:30 PM Gathering) 1:30PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Road, Brighton Michigan. Fr. John Rocus will serve as celebrant. In honor of Marlaine, the family would like everyone to wear purple which was her favorite color. Memorial contributions are suggested to ALS of Michigan or Open Arms Hospice.
