Her Legacy… Mary Louise Kelly, 92, passed away August 23, 2022.  She was born on March 7, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan to Wilfred Waldorf and Louise (Brelowski) Waldorf. Mary married the love of her life, Francis Kelly, on July 7, 1951, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary was an avid sports fan who loved the Detroit Red Wings. She loved to crochet, embroider and do crossword puzzles. Mary was an avid reader, and enjoyed feeding the birds. Mary was a joy to know and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Mary will be missed by her children, Kenneth Kelly, Linda (Joseph) Stehlik, Karen (Stephen) Grech; brother, Marvin (Kathy) Waldorf; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Marianne, Angela, Christina, Rachel, Katherine, Daniel; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Kelly; parents, Wilfred and Louise Waldorf; two brothers and five sisters.

Her Farewell… Mary’s family and friends will gather Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 1:00PM-5:00PM, with a Rosary at 5:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 10:30AM (9:30AM gathering), at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Brighton, MI.  Father Miguel Colunga will serve as celebrant.
