Her Legacy… Mary Joan Mick, 85, passed away January 30, 2020.  She was born on December 25, 1934, in Flint, Michigan to John Seeley and Jennie (DePlaunty) Seeley. Mary married the love of her life, John Mick, on May 24, 1956, in Flint, Michigan. She will be remembered for being the best mother and wife.  Mary was always there for her family and gave her whole self to them in a nurturing way.  She taught her children to take care of themselves and prepare them for what life has to offer.  Taking care of others was important to her.  She enjoyed gardening, baking for her family, and entertaining. 

Her Family… Mary will be missed by her children, Dennis (Stacy) Mick, Jessica Marie (Frank) Hernandez, Julie (Allen) Riggs; and daughter in law, Sandie Mick; siblings, Phyllis Nash, and Katherine (John) Beach; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her dear friend, Helen Conricode; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Mick; her parents, John and Jennie Seeley; and her son, Andrew Mick.

Her Farewell… Mary’s family and friends will gather Monday, February 3, 2020 from 2:00-8:00pm (6:30pm rosary) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00am ( 10:00am gathering) for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Road, Brighton, Michigan.  Father Jorgensen will serve as celebrant.
