Her Legacy… Mary Ann Wolak, 79, passed away September 4, 2022.  She was born on February 9, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan to John Lindelbauer and Dorothy (Gillispie) Lindelbauer. Mary married the love of her life, Joseph Wolak, on August 5, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan. Mary was a true sweetheart who loved playing games, painting, and keeping a clean house. She was a friendly and outgoing person who was also a great listener. Her faith was very important to her, and she was highly involved with the parish activities at St. Mary Catholic church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Mary will be missed by her husband, Joseph Wolak; her children, Michael (Judy) Wolak, and Stephen Wolak; sister Joanne; grandchildren, Christopher, Kelly, Justin, Amanda, McKenzie, Jessica, Tiffany, DJ, Arian, and Harley; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her children Lisa and Joey, her parents, John and Dorothy, and her sisters Barbara and Pat.

Her Farewell… Mary’s family and friends will gather from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Pinckney, Michigan (10am gathering). Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant.
