Her Legacy… Mary Ann Metcalf (Boik) born on September 8th, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan joined her daughter, Judy and husband, Chet on April 9, 2025, while residing in Brighton, Michigan peacefully in her sleep. She was the beloved mother of Cathy TerBush, Chet Metcalf, and Judy Metcalf.
Mary Ann was someone who danced to the beat of her own drum and always brought irresistible laughter wherever she went. She was a spirited soul that embraced others as they were and made everyone feel right at home. She was someone who was extremely active and lived her life to the fullest. Whether she was playing golf, bowling, playing dominos, different card games, going to Panera with friends, or even going on different trips with friends, she always brought the perfect element of sass and humor. However, her favorite way to spend her time was always with her family. Her journey through life was one marked by love, compassion, laughter, and her faith.
Her Family… Mary Ann will be missed by her children, Cathy (Brien) TerBush and Chet (Claire) Metcalf; siblings, Barb Moffitt; grandchildren, Ryan (Amie), Matt (Alana), Meghan, Samantha, Parker, and Camila; great grandchild, Landon; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Chet Metcalf; parents, Albert and Julia Boik; daughter, Judy Metcalf; sister, Virginia Trembath; and brother, Bill Boik.
