His Legacy…Matthew Carl Braun, 27, passed away September 15, 2021.  He was born on June 7, 1994, in Garden City, Michigan to Alfred Carl Braun and Marlene Julie (McCord) Braun.  Matthew will be remembered as having a heart full of love.  He always looked out for everyone and was compassionate and selfless.  Matthew had extreme love for his family and nephews. He also had a very strong work ethic, was a hard worker and was very faithful to his job.  He is going to be deeply missed by his friends and family.

His Family… Matthew will be missed by his parents, Alfred and Marlene Braun; siblings, Daniel DeKittie, Michael Braun, Dimitri (Nicole) Braun; nephews, Dimitrus, Michael; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Gabriel Braun; grandparents, Gary and Linda Mezgec , Emil and Julie McCord.

His Farewell… Matthew’s family and friends will gather at a later date for his celebration of life. Memorial contributions are suggested to a fundraiser to help family with expenses to send him home to Alaska.
