Her Legacy… Maureen Karen Galloway, 54, passed away April 19, 2021. She was born on January 25, 1967, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Albert Fromm and Kathleen (O’Neill) Fromm. Maureen married the love of her life, Bob Galloway, on June 13, 1992 in Belleville, Michigan. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who brought comfort, joy and a lot of laughter to her family. Maureen was dedicated to her Catholic faith which was reflected in the way she lived her life. You could often find her working at church, praying the rosary, spending time in adoration or guiding someone closer to Christ. Her love of Jesus and the Blessed Mother was apparent in her kind, humble, sweet and unselfish manner. To know her and to be in her presence was truly a gift.
Her Family… Maureen will be missed by her husband, Bob; her children; Steven, Paul, Laura (Jeremy) Auer, and Eric; siblings; Margaret (Jeff) Silvani, Kathleen (Pat) Busch, Michael (Rena) Fromm, Donna (Jim) Hoelscher, Mary (Rick) Lathers, John Fromm, Theresa Fromm Hall, Susan Fromm, Anne (Andy) Vuocolo, Steven (Lisa) Fromm, Jane (Jeff) McAlary, and Patrice (Bill) Casto. Her first grandchild, baby Auer, is on the way. She will also be missed by 50 nieces and nephews, and 61 grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents (Pauline and Donald O’Neill, John and Lucy Fromm) her father, Albert Fromm, Kelli Lathers (niece), Matthew Kohler (nephew), and her pre-born children (including John Paul, Grace Marie, Elizabeth Gianna, James Solanus, Bernadette Mary, and Maria Kate).
Her Farewell… Maureen’s family and friends will gather Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 4:00-8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) for her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
