His Legacy… Max Ward Crites, 88, passed away April 6, 2024.  He was born on March 13, 1936, in Springport Township, Michigan to Donald and Gladys (Clark) Crites. Max will be remembered as man who was generous with his time and took great pleasure in helping out anyone who asked. As a young man Max served in the US Marine Corps as a truck driver stationed in Korea and Japan. Max was proud of his time in the service and stayed well connected to his brothers and sisters in arms at Dundee Michigan Veterans Club. Max enjoyed taking a ride down the Huron River with his good friends. He loved Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, and watching the local news. Max savored a good steak from Texas Roadhouse. He is deeply loved by his friends and family, who will miss him dearly.

His Family… Max will be missed by his good friends, Daniel (Barbara) Giannotti, Paul (Shelley) Montez, Ken (Heather) Bond, and Eric (Carol) Row. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Donald and Gladys Crites.

His Farewell… Max's family and friends will gather from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.  His Community Farewell will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17. 2024, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home.
