Melissa Costa

Her Legacy… Melissa Jean Costa, age 46, passed away June 6, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1975 in Adrian, MI to Joseph Bell and Teri Morfino. Melissa married the love of her life, Tommy Costa, on August 11, 2007. She was strong in her faith. Melissa would help those in need. She was a champion of those that cannot defend themselves. In her spare time, Melissa liked to carve walking sticks by hand. Melissa was a mama bear, fantastic aunt, and beacon for her family. She will be remembered as a ray of sunshine. Melissa will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Melissa leaves behind her husband, Tommy; son, Daniel; parents, Joseph and Teri; brothers, Adam, Jason, Danny, Donny; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Ken Morfino; and brother, Danny Morfino.

Her Farewell… Melissa’s family and friends will gather on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 3-7PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11AM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel with a gathering beginning at 10AM until the time of service. Reverend Bill Donahue will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Livingston County.
